HOUSE PLANS & ENGINEERING
The first step to getting your house raised is to get house plans and engineering. We can help facilitate this process by putting you in touch with designers and architects we trust. This combined with site visits ensures you get the job you want as economical as possible.
COUNCIL APPROVAL
This is only required in some instances for restumps and majoirty of the time for raising houses. Get in touch with us so we can help you navigate through this.
BUILDING APPROVAL
During this step you will start getting quotes for house raising and associated works. If you need council approval you will engage with a private certifier for council approval.
THE RAISE
After a contract is signed, Steele House Raising will begin on-site works. these include but are not exclusive too
– Raising the house
– Completing excavation works
– Installing posts and beams
– Disconnection and reconnection of utitlities
– Retaining walls and slabs as required
– We also offer staircase installation whether they be timber steel or concrete.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
It’s a good idea to have suitable accommodation organised during the house raising period which on average is 1-3 weeks.

Prices for raising a house range from $14,000 to an average of around $25,000 when raising and or restumping a three bedroom Brisbane Queenslander.
There are other additional costs to consider as part of house raising including; plans and engineering, approvals, plumbing, electrical, excavation, stairs and a concrete slab should you need it. This is an average figure to provide a formal quotation we have to conduct a site visit and reference construction drawings.
